Ester Marie Scott

Marie Scott, 87 of Sebree passed away 12:40 PM Tuesday December 9, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Onton, KY on September 19, 1921 to the late Millard and Golda (Owens) Scott. She attended Sebree United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Henderson Chapter. She retired from Colonial Terrace Nursing Home after 25 years in the dietary department. She had also owned and operated the Corner Café in Sebree, as well as having worked as a waitress at other local restaurants. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Sherman, Dorris and Estell Scott and a sister Dalcy Scarbrough. She is survived by: Son and daughter in law; Keith and Vicki Scott of Slaughters, KY Daughter and son in law; Paula and Bob Guzzo of Evansville, IN Brother; Herman and wife Billie Jean Scott of Evansville, IN 4 grandchildren 2 step grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday December 13, 2008 at the Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Rev. Alan Scott and David Scott will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY Visitation will be Friday from 3:30 until 8:00 and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Moser, Sonny Shelton, Tommy Tow, James Nance, Dennis Nunn and Keith Berry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Evansville, IN. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
