Audrey "Faye" Bingemer left her earthly home on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born a proud coal miner's daughter, Faye entered the world on May 30, 1943, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late Eddie Lee and Pauline (Hibbard) Morris. Faith was an important aspect of Faye's life, from her church family at Waters Edge Church to her love of southern gospel music, including The Conqueror's Quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Crabb Family, and many others.
Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 55 years, Kenneth Luke Bingemer. Their love was unique, often full of playful bickering, but always deeply committed to one another. Her family will remember their relationship as a cornerstone of how love was taught to them and their extended families.
While many will reminisce about Faye for her warmth and compassion, those that knew her best would proudly call her "sassy" - a term she used to describe herself with great satisfaction. A lifelong homemaker, Faye was known for her spunky personality and long-winded stories, often centered on her family or favorite restaurants. She was fiercely protective of those she loved and known for how deeply she loved those around her. While her children may not recall annual phone calls of her singing "Happy Birthday", her grandchildren will forever hold that tradition in a special place in their hearts.
A mother, Faye is survived by three loving children; Sherri Bingemer, Ken Bingemer (Angie), and Dana Schoenbaechler (Glenn). She is survived by grandchildren Dustin (Karyn), Logan (Allie), Katelin (Jeremy), Jacob, Caleb (Justin), Lindsey (Clint), and Dale (Heather). Additionally, Faye is survived by her great-grandchildren Avyn, Oliver, Henley, Lillian, Conner, Ruby, Eloise, Lucy, Luke, and Hudson. She has now joined her granddaughter, Sarah Fran, in heaven.
Her brother, William "Bud" Morris, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, Kentucky on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Additional visitation hours will occur on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Her funeral service will be officiated by Dr. Steve Custer at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026 with burial following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Bingemer, Logan Schoenbaechler, Jacob Bingemer, Caleb Edwards, Dale Schoenbaechler, Clint Grider, Jeremy McKinney and Justin Greer. Honorary pallbearer will be Craig Render.
