Florence Irene Hunter

Florence Irene (Corwin) Hunter, 70, of Henderson passed away Wednesday April 25, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. She was born in White County, Illinois to Jewel and Berneda (Jacobs) Corwin on October 17, 1941. She was a homemaker, member of Living Faith Tabernacle and formerly a Sunday school teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Delores Denton. Survivors include: her husband Bobby Hunter 2 Daughters: Terri Kowalsky of Phoenix, Arizona Julie Samuels of Newburgh, Indiana Son: James Hunter of Henderson Brother: Charlie Corwin of Henderson 7 Grandchildren: Shawn Hunter, Nick Hunter, Drew Samuels, Logan Samuels, Melissa Mullins, Raymond Freeman, Contessa Wolfe Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday April 28, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel Bro. Richard Meredith will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 5-8 PM and Saturday 12:00 PM until service time. Burial will be in Baskett Cemetery in Baskett, KY. Pallbearers will be Steven Mitchell, Jeff Simon, Randy Major, Michael Penry, Andy Miller and Steven Bently. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Frasier, Ron Mitchell and Tracy Corwin.
