Floyd W. Brinkley

Floyd W. Brinkley, 83, of Henderson passed away 3:38 P.M. Thursday March 25, 2010 at the St. Anthony’s Hospice Center at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. He was born March 21, 1927 in Henderson County to Boyd Grant and Blanch (Pardee) Brinkley. He had retired from Karges Furniture in Evansville, IN and was a huge Chicago Cubs Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons Dwight W. Brinkley and Orrin W. Brinkley. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Elanda Brinkley of Henderson, KY 1 daughter: Drew Dodson of Henderson, KY 3 sons: Bill and his wife Claudia Brinkley of Henderson, KY Bobby Brinkley of Henderson, KY Allan and his wife Linda Brinkley of Henderson, KY Grandchildren: Bobby Brinkley, Jr., Chad Brinkley, Bryane Brinkley, Chris Brinkley, Amber Jacobs, Jennifer Baxter, Billy Brinkley II. 13 Great-Grandchildren. Memorial services will be Monday March 29, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at Immanual Baptist Temple in Henderson, KY ( 540 2nd St.). Pastor Michael Eldridge will officiate. Visitation with the family will be Monday March 29, 2010 from 4-6 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice of Henderson County.
