Floyd R Wilson

Floyd R. Wilson, 67 of Slaughters, KY passed away at 7:30 PM Saturday November 20, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was born August 6, 1943 in Robertsville, MO to the late Thomas Lester and Mary Elizabeth (Kopf) Wilson. He attended Slaughters Christian Church, was a member of the Slaughters Masonic Lodge , Madisonville Rizpah Shriners and the OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association). He was also an Army Veteran and member of the Austin Collins American Legion Post #243 in Sebree and VFW in Cedar Hill, MO He is survived by his wife Jean (Ashley) Wilson of Slaughters, KY Son; Michael (Laura) Wilson of Slaughters, KY 2 Grandchildren: Heather Wilson and Greg Wilson Sister; Mary Ellen (Jim) Sanders of Cuba, MO Brothers; Vernon (Sue) Wilson of Potosi, MO Tom Wilson of Cedar Hill, MO Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday November 24, 2010 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Bill Adcock will officiate. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY with full military rites by American Legion Worsham Post 40 of Henderson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
