Francisco "Bat" Ernesto Ramirez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francisco “Bat” Ernesto Ramirez, a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend, who left us on January 23, 2025. His warm spirit, boundless curiosity, and artistic soul touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Everyone that knew “Bat” knew that he would light up the room with his big smile and dimples.

Francisco had an extraordinary gift for bringing the world to life through his drawings and sketches. Whether it was a quick doodle on the corner of a notebook or a detailed sketch he labored over for hours, his art was a window into his creative mind. He saw beauty in the ordinary and transformed it into something extraordinary with the stroke of his pencil.

He had a fascination with taking things apart and putting them back together. His hands were as skillful as his heart was kind.

Francisco was born November 8, 1990, in Houston, Texas to Cheryl Ann Singh and the late Ernesto A. Ramirez.

He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Singh; father figure, Ira Beumer; daughter, Natalie Rosabella Ramirez; three siblings, Grant A. Merrick, Miles C. Ramirez (Shynika) and David Z. Robertson; sister, Mariana Lopez Felix; nephews, Myles Ramirez, Camryn Ramirez, Caysen Ramirez, Nolan Ernesto Ramirez, Reece Cain, Rhett Cain, Chanze Merrick, Isazah Wright, Jeremiah Robertson and Brayden Robertson; nieces, Alexis Merrick and Chloe Merrick; Aunt, Leetta Cain; cousins, Anapaula Rodriguez and Luiselene Lopez; grandmothers, Lou Ann Rush and Chescencia Elena Auila Terrazas (Chencha) and grandfather, Francisco Ramirez Lerma (Kiko) and great nephew, Ke'Alan Davis.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM. Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, KY with Father Richard Meredith officiating.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in every sketch, every story, and every life he touched.
