Frank D. Byrd

Frank Byrd, 82, passed away on October 12, 2017 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center.  He was born on September 19, 1935 in Uniontown, KY to the late Dewey and Edith May Byrd. Frank attended Victory Christian Church and was a Mason.  He is preceded in death by his parents; spouse Hazel in September 2017; sister, Beatrice Greenwell, brothers, Robert, Bill, Charlie, Richie, and Harold Byrd. Survived by children, Mark (Gayle) Byrd of Corydon, KY; Kathy (Ron) Butler of Cairo, KY, Ray (Cindy) Byrd, IN, Beverly (Larry) Barron of Henderson, KY, Richard (Vicki) Gibson of Zion, KY, Michael Gibson of Evansville, IN and Carla (Ralph) Crook of Bluff City, KY; 1 sister, Margie (Charlie) Rayburn of Sturgis, KY; 1 brother, Donnie (Barb) Byrd of Chicago, IL; 18 Grandchildren; 36 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Victory Christian Church in Henderson, KY.  Rev Jack Ross will officiate.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.  Pallbearers will be Grandchildren.  Burial will be in Corydon cemetery.Online condolences may be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com.
