Frank Lyndal Rucks

Frank Lyndal Rucks, 71, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at home. He was born in Hopkinsville  on November 5, 1949 to the late Woodrow and Virginia (Beshears) Rucks. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he had retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was of the Methodist faith. He was a family man and loved his kids and grandkids very much. He played football at Henderson County High School and at the University of Kentucky, and later became assistant football coach at Henderson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Virginia Rucks. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jo Ella (Crowley) Rucks; children, Wesley A. Rucks of Chicago and Matthew L. Rucks (Heather) of Henderson; two grandchildren, Sadie Rucks and Sydney Rucks; sister, Cathy Rucks of Henderson; sister-in-law, Connie Dannheiser; brother-in-law, Earl Crowley; cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Rick O’Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 23 and from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, both at the funeral home.
