Franklin Earl Farley

Franklin Earl Farley passed away Tuesday December 24, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born September 5, 1957 in Henderson Co. to Joseph Earl and Judy (Zehner) Farley Billings. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and a graduate of University of KY. He was a Crop Insurance Agent for Heuring Crop Insurance. Franklin was a lifelong farmer, coached youth league sports for 12 years, State 4H president, KY colonel, past member of the Henderson Co. Extension Council, past chairman Henderson Co. District Board, past president Farm Bureau Young Farmers, member of Aplha Gama Rho Fraternity, Officer and Director of PCMA, auctioneer since 1978 ( Herron Auction ), auctioneer for Ducks Unlimited Benefit Auctions and a lifetime member of FFA. He was preceded by his father Joseph Earl Farley and a nephew Weston Farley. He is survived by his wife Tina (Thompson) Farley His mother and step-father: Judy Farley Billings and Charles Billings 2 sons: Joseph Adam Farley of Henderson J. T. Farley and his wife Shannon of Boonville, IN 3 step-children: Jeremy S. Hunt of Louisville Christy Osborn and her husband David of Henderson Jarrod Embry and his wife Kristen of Henderson 2 brothers: Byron Farley and his wife Sherri of Alexandria, KY Jon Farley and his wife Sandra of Henderson 2 step-sisters: Susan Cruse and her husband Steve of Henderson Lou Ann Nolan and her husband Bill of Jacksonville, Alabama 2 grandchildren: Hannah and Maci Mae Farley 3 step-grandchldren Nieces and nephews: Ryan Farley and his wife Jessie of Lexington Brennan and Addie Farley of Henderson Megan Farley of Alexandria, KY Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Zion Baptist Church. Bro. Jerry Pearcy and Bill Bridwell will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 PM- 8:00 PM Thursday December 26 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and 12:00 PM until service time Friday at Zion Baptist Church.
