Franklin E. Quinn, Sr.

Franklin E. Quinn, 88, of Hanson formerly of Ashbyburg, KY passed away Thursday June 3, 2010 at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Sebree. He was a lifetime farmer and a WWII Army veteran He was born June 19, 1921 to Foel and Viola Quinn. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Loretta Quinn, 1 son Frank (Buddy) Quinn, Jr., 2 brothers Ernest Quinn, and Barry Quinn. He is survived by a daughter: Jan Ipock and her husband Wayne of Hanson, KY and a son Harold Quinn and his wife Cindy of Ashbyburg, Ky, 3 sisters: Lucille Tapp of Henderson, KY, Delores Lambdin of Louisville, KY, and Nancy Hunter of Louisville, KY, And 1 brother Ronnie Quinn of Calhoun, KY Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and Nephews. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday June 8, 2010 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree, KY. Rev. Maurice Melton will officiate. Burial will be in the Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY Visitation will be Monday June 7, 2010 from 4-8 PM and Tuesday June 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Quinn, Alan Quinn, Jeremi Winstead, Jeremiah Pryor, Ronald Riggs, Kenny Hayes, and Dale Winstead.
