Freddie B. Preston, 84, of Onton, KY passed away 12:17 PM March 15, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born September 10, 1929 in Webster County Kentucky to the late Fred and Queen Isabel (Carlisle) Preston. He was a member of Onton United Methodist Church, retired after 30 years from Signal Delivery in Evansville, IN, member of Bailey-Onton Masonic Lodge, West Kentucky Consistory, and Riz Pah Temple both in Madisonville, Webster County Shriners, and active in Onton Hay Days. His passions included gardening, camping, and making woodworking crafts for friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Thurman Preston, and 2 sisters Earline Melton and Jennie Bob Sterneman. He is survived by his wife Mildred Pearl (Odom) Preston of Onton, 1 daughter: Tonia (husband Mike) Thomasson of Onton 3 sons: Dale ( wife Pam) Preston of Onton Kent (wife Lisa) Preston of Onton Sam (wife Bobbi) Preston of Evansville, IN 7 grandchildren: Steve Wiley, Ross Thomasson, Kelly Preston, Tonya Redfern, Blake Preston, Brandon Moore, and Katelyn Preston 13 great-grandchildren: Brittni Wiley, Cory Wiley, Olivia Wiley, Chyanne Wiley, Coleman Wiley, Noah Thomasson, Tory Richmond, Jordan Hayes, Keegan Hayes, Landon Bennett, Hunter Redfern, Aiden Preston and Eli Preston. 1 great-great-grandchild: Preston Wiley Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday March 19, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree with Bro. Marty Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM Tuesday March 18 and 9:00-11:00 AM Wednesday March 19 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Masons from Bailey-Onton Masonic Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to Onton Cemetery Fund or Bailey-Onton Masonic Lodge.
