Gavin Seth Tapp

Gavin Seth Tapp, 24, of Providence, passed away Monday May 22, 2017 at 6:32PM.  He was born in Henderson on July 27, 1992 to James Scott Tapp and Jennifer Lynn (Boster) Machen.  Gavin was a member of River of Life Church in Henderson.  He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Stanley and Janet Tapp, paternal great-grandparents Wilburt and Cova Tapp, Thelma and James McCarty, maternal great-grandparents Roscoe and Della Boster and Earl and Pauline Writtenberry.  Survivors include his mother Jennifer Boster-Machen and step-dad Jamie Machen of Providence, father Scott Tapp and step-mother Amy of Dixon, 1 daughter Aubree Tapp of Sebree, 2 sisters Jenna Machen of Providence, Megan Tapp of Sebree, 2 brothers Gage Machen of Providence, Garrett Tapp of Dixon, Maternal grandparents Jerry Boster of Lakeland, Florida, Linda Boster of Sebree and several cousins.  Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 25, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree.  Pastor Shane Amar will officiate.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 4-8PM and Thursday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
