Gene Crowley

Gene Crowley, 76 of Corydon passed away January 20, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital in Henderson surrounded by his loving family. Gene was born in Evansville to the late Florence and Dorothy (Hawkins) Crowley. He attended New Hope Pentecostal Church, he had retired as a maintenance foreman for the Henderson County Water Department and was a U.S Army veteran. After his retirement he worked part time in summer for the Henderson County Road Department, volunteered at the St. Vincent De Paul and loved going to yard sales. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son David Crowley.Gene is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Sarah (Knott) Crowley; his son Daniel Crowley; his brother Jack Crowley and his granddaughter Mercedes Crowley. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Monday January 25, 2021 with Michelle Nally officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
