Geneva Ann Adams

Geneva Ann (Johnston) Adams, 67 of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:53 PM Saturday June 12, 2010 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on December 3, 1942 to the late William Herschel and Aretta Lorene (Dunning) Johnston. She was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship in Madisonville. She was a homemaker and had previously worked with Regional Medical Center Home Health. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 sons; Terry Whitfield, James “Danny” Whitfield and Jerry Wayne Whitfield; a brother; William Earl Johnston and 3 half sisters; Mary Lois Embrey, Betty Lou Clark, and June England. She is survived by a daughter; Angela Gail Garrett of Slaughters, KY Sister; Sharon Sue Mitchell of Madisonville, KY Brother; Dillmon Franklin Johnston of Earlington, KY 4 granddaughters Services will be held Wednesday June 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY Rev. Phil Sullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
