Geneva Mae Gill Geneva Mae Gill, 79 of Earlington passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson Kentucky. Ms. Gill was a homemaker, and while her health enabled her, she enjoyed quilting and camping with her husband and many friends. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born on March 12, 1934 in Mortons Gap to the late Lon Vandiver and Annie Jane Cotton Vandiver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Vandiver of Mortons Gap. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Dudley Gill, their daughter, Teresa Diane (Tom) Davis of Madisonville, her sister, Nellie Josleyn of Nortonville, two granddaughters, Autumn Jane (Scott) Sisco of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Miranda Jo (John) Hapner of Memphis, Tennessee, three greatgrandsons, John Thomas Sisco, Edward “Teddy” Hapner, and Kevin Hapner. Services will be held on Sunday, October 27th 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Reid-Walters Funeral Home with Reverend Matthew Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Sisco, John Hapner, Damon Bond, John Clark, Jeff Hawkins, and Patrick Walters. Honorary pallbearer will be John Thomas “J T” Hamby. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Visitation will be on Saturday October 26 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and from noon until service time on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lucy Smith King Care Center 1305 N Elm Street, Henderson, Kentucky, 42420.
