George Lee Biggers, Jr

George Lee Biggers, Jr, 69, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home. He was born in Morganfield, Ky on June 10, 1951 to the late George Lee Biggers, Sr and the late Ella (Taylor) Biggers. He was retired from the City of Henderson where he worked in the road department.  George loved fishing and gardening, collecting guns and Indian artifacts.  He had three dogs; Harley, Buddy and Hanley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca (Smith) Biggers, brother Joe Biggers and sister Betty Biggers. He is survived by  2 sons Troy Biggers of Henderson and Tracy Biggers of Owensboro; 3 step-children, Bethany Glazebrook, Andy (Sarah) Glazebrook both of Providence and Jason (Lisa) Benton of Deatsville, AL; sisters; Emma Gentry, Gayle Griffin, Mary Biggers all of Henderson, brothers; Tommy Biggers, James (Vickie) Biggers both of Henderson and Roger Biggers of Robards.  7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, June 22 from 5-6 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Funeral services are private with Homer Main officiating.
