George Thomas Woodard

George Thomas Woodard, 71 of Robards passed away March 9, 2022 at Select Medical Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born August 18, 1950 in Henderson, KY to the late George B. and Tommye Rose Evans. George was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY and loved woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Evans and sister, Deborah Armstrong. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Woodard; two daughters, Sarah Rhoades (Kevin) of Henderson and Meagan Berwanger of Lexington; three siblings, John Evans II (Kelli Hand) of FL, George David Evans (Monika) of AL, Mary Carter (Steve) of AL; one grandson, Ryker Thomas Berwanger; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Farrell Shepherd will officiate with burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2022 and 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Josh Luce, David Evans, Kevin Rhoades, Steve Carter, Chance Bentley and Cameron Luce. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryker Thomas Berwanger.
