Georgia Rachel Hamby Spainhoward

Georgia Rachael Messamore Hamby Spainhoward age 93 of Madisonville formerly of Earlington passed away at 10:35 p.m. Monday 01-23-12 at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. She was born January 12, 1919 in Christian County to Harvey and Ora Lantrip Messamore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Earlington and was a seamstress at the Enro Shirt Factory in Madisonville. In addition to her, parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Spainhoward in 1979 and two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one son Roy Hamby of Madisonville one sister Nancy Thompson of Crofton one brother Leroy Messamore of Dawson Springs two grandchildren six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday 01-27-12 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington with Rev. David Simpson officiating. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Her visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday 01-26-12 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday.
