Georgia Lee (Shelton) Floyd

Georgia Lee (Shelton) Floyd, 85 of Madisonville, KY passed away May 15, 2020 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1934 in Webster County to the late Howard D. and Ruby L. Shelton.She was a homemaker and attended Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church.  Georgia enjoyed country music and spending time with family especially when she could spoil the grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Floyd; daughter, Sharleen Floyd; three sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Darrel Sue Ballard and Oneta Greenfield; three brothers, Howard Shelton, Jr., George Shelton, and James Carroll Shelton, two great grandsons, Brice Allen and Liam Miller. Georgia is survived by her 4 children, Bruce Floyd (Carolyn) of Ortiz, KY, Jolene Forker (Allen) of Hanson, Mona Rymal (Tom) of Madisonville and Pandy Miller (Hobie) of Sebree; 10 grandchildren, Joey, Dana, Shantanna, LeAnna, Amanda, Joshua, Tommy, Matthew, Eugenia and Keith; 39 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Judy Osborne of Sebree; 3 brothers, Billy Wayne Shelton, Larry Shelton and Doug Shelton all of Sebree. Services will be private with burial in Shelton Cemetery. Brother Barry Cullen will officiate. Pallbearers will be Hobie Miller, Joey Floyd, Damion Nall, Matt Forker, Keith Miller and Greg Townsend. Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
