Gilbert Clay Jennings

Gilbert Clay Jennings, 85 of Henderson passed away March 20, 2015 at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Center. He was born March 12, 1930 in Anthoston, KY to Ezra and Virginia (Cox) Jennings. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a Korean War Army Veteran. Gilbert was employed at Gibbs for over 20 years and also at Custom Resins for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice (Rideout) Jennings (1998), daughter Nancy Diane Jennings (1967), brother E. B. Jennings, Jr. He is survived by 3 children: Vickie Reutter (Tony) of Henderson Anita Ely (Lynn) of Vancleave, MS Tim Jennings of Henderson 10 grandchildren: Jessica Muensterman, JoAnna Thomley, Scott Reutter, Zeke Ely, Kayla Jennings, Shirley Ely, Adrienne Ely, Cherokee Ely, Kristen Ely and Ashlyn Jennings. 9 Great Grandchildren Nieces and nephews Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Henderson Chapel. Rev. Don Pollard and Rev. Thornton Stanley will officiate. Burial will be Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 PM-8:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40. Pallbearers will be Scott Reutter, Zeke Ely, David Garrett, Steve Keister, Mark Jennings and Dale Cauley.
