Gladys Byrum Heltsley Gladys Byrum Heltsley age 89 of Earlington passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday 06-03-12 at the NHC Nursing Home in Madisonville. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Earlington She was born May 9, 1923 in Nebo to John and Eva Brown Byrun. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Heltsley in 2011, a son in law Robert Fraser and one grandson David Michael Fraser. She is survived by one son John Heltsley of Earlington and one daughter, Sue Fraser of Hagerhill, Ky and four sisters, Anna Laura Todd of Earlington, Betty Groves of White Plains, Carmon Bishop of Madisonville and Gina Heltsley of White Plains. One grandson, Derek Fraser and his wife Elizabeth of Green Cove Springs, Florida, two great grandchildren, Julia Fraser and Benjamin Fraser and several nieces and newphews. Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday 06-07-12 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington with Rev. Marty Martinez officiating. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Her visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday.
