Gladys Oglesby

Gladys Marcine Oglesby, 91 of Onton, Kentucky, died on August 29, 2015 at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born on June 12, 1924 in Webster County to the late Eules and Zadie Melton. She retired after 35 years as a lab technician for General Electric in Owensboro and was a member of Onton United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Raymond Jackson Oglesby in 2007, and one brother, Thomas Monroe Melton. She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Bullerman of Louisville, 2 granddaughters Marcey Bullerman and Jacquelyn Bullerman Hill, one great granddaughter Kyanne Rose Hill, as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel on Monday August 31st at 2:00 with Brother Marty Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Onton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until service hour at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Onton Cemtery Fund, 27 Melton Ln, Sebree KY 42455.
