Glenda Ellen Hook

Glenda Ellen (Nunn) Hook, 69, of Henderson passed away Wednesday September 7, 2016 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Henderson on November 11, 1946 to James Letcher and Ruby Catherine (Thurby) Nunn. Glenda was a beautician, a member Hyland Baptist Church and served on Christian Outreach Board. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Hook in 2013. Survivors include 2 sons: Steve Hook and wife Beth and Brad Hook all of Henderson, 4 sisters Marilyn Cain and husband Melvin, Kim Wright and husband Frank, Rita Boling and husband Larry all of Henderson, Cindy Evans and husband Jeff of South Dakota, 2 brothers Ronnie Nunn and wife Donna of Henderson, Danny Nunn and wife Emily of Tennessee, 2 grandchildren Emily and Joshua Hook, Nieces and Nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday September 10, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pastor Kenny Kidd will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 9:30AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hyland Baptist Church Buildind Fund or St. Anthony’s Hospice. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Nunn, Larry Boling, Frank Wright, Melvin Cain, Danny Nunn and Jeff Evans.
