Glenda Marlene Hodes

Glenda Marlene Hodes, 69 of Henderson passed away Friday November 10, 2023.

She was born in Effingham, Illinois to Lloyd and Anna (Martin) Baker on November 1, 1954.

Glenda retired from Dixon’s Appliance. She worked at Hallmark Kirlands for over 20 years and became known as the Hallmark lady as she collected many items from the store. She was very social and never met a stranger. Glenda also enjoyed bird watching.

Glenda was preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Baker.

Survivors include her husband David Hodes; parents Lloyd and Anna Baker of Gallatin, TN; two sons Christopher Hodes of Washington D.C., Bradley Hodes (Samantha) of Reed; one sister Brenda Reek; one brother Matthew Baker (Kimberly); two granddaughters Samara and Penelope Hodes; nieces and nephews Courtney Baker, Amanda Reek, Dustin Baker and Falon Baker

Services will be 5:00 PM Saturday November 18, 2023 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday 3:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
