Glenn A. “Keeno” Keene, Sr. 85, of Reed, KY passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday February 11th, 2021. Glenn was born August 26, 1935 in Morton’s Gap, KY to Gussie and Birdie Keene. Glenn began working to help support his family at the age of 10. In 1971, Glenn married Pauletta “Paula” Fark in Evansville, IN. He bowled on leagues for 56 years and played the card game Clabber for 54 years. Glenn loved to hunt deer, fish for catfish, and spend time with family including his dogs. Glenn retired from Industrial Contractors in 1997 after 32 years with an excellent work record. Glenn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Paula, 5 sons: Roger (Kathy) Keene of Robards, KY, Charles “Chuck” (Gina) Keene of Evansville, IN, Tracey Keene of Tell City, IN, Glenn (Michelle) Keene, Jr. of Evansville, IN, and Frank Keene of Reed, KY. 1 daughter: Mary “Suzie” (Jim) Bowden of Evansville, IN, 1 sister: Mary (Fran) Lutz of Cairo, KY. 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents: Gussie and Birdie Keene; brothers: Bernard Keene, Billy Keene, Richard Keene, and Frederick Keene; sisters: Marie Powell, and Lavinia Keene; son: James Keene; 5 grandchildren; and his beloved dogs. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 18, 2021, 12:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Mike Snyder officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 3:00-7:00 PM and Thursday, February 18, 2021, 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
