Glenn Pinkston, 91, of Henderson, Ky, passed away March 28, 2024 at his home.
Glenn was born in Webster County, KY on June 22, 1932 to the late Orville and Mae Pinkston.
Glenn was a veteran in the U.S Air Force and a heavy equipment operator at operating engineers 181. He was also co-owner of Pinkston’s Market and T&P Flowers in Corydon, Ky. Glenn was a member and served as a deacon at the Corydon Missionary Baptist Church for several years. He loved gardening, riding his motorcycle with family and friends, being a pilot on his private plane, and spending time with family especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Mae Pinkston; and his brother, Donald Ray Pinkston.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, LaNeal Pinkston; his children, Ricky Pinkston (Tammy),LaDona O’Nan (Steve), and Lisa Crook (Jackie); one sister, Mildred Joyce Whitmore (Fred); six grandchildren, Shanon Thomson (Michael), Brennen Crook (Becky), Mindy Blankenship (Jason), Emily Galyon (Eric), Dagney Hargis (Adam), and Darrick Pinkston (Katie); eleven great grandchildren, Avery, Owen, Grace, Ryder, Aniston, Charlie, Winston, Isla, Raelynn, Theo, and Mila.
Services will be 10:00 A.M, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Rick O’Daniel officiating.
Visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. Visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 will be from 8:00 A.M until the service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brennen Crook, Darrick Pinkston, Michael Thomson, Adam Hargis, Jason Blankenship, Owen Blankenship, Ryder Hargis, and Charlie Crook.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Saint Anthony’s Hospice or Corydon Missionary Baptist Church building fund.
