Gloria Deene Lykins

Gloria Deene “Tootsie” (Edwards) Lykins, 86, of Sebree passed away Sunday March 23, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. She was born October 2, 1927 in Sebree, KY to the late Jewell and Eliza Ann (Seay) Edwards. She was a homemaker and a member of Sebree United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Lykins (1990), son Jim Lykins, 3 brothers: Jewell LaTane Edwards, Sonny Edwards, Donnie Edwards, and 1 sister Jeannie Frasier. She is survived by 2 sons: Bill Lykins of Sebree, KY and Danny (wife: Mary) Lykins of Beech Grove, KY 2 sisters: Cecilia “Cis” Wright of Loveland OH and Bonnie Mason of Henderson, KY 1 brother: Billie Lou Edwards of Henderson, KY 5 grandchildren: Wes Lykins, Desi Lykins, Kaylie Lykins, Jesse Lykins, and Jake Lykins 4 great-grandchildren: Presley Lykins, Kaedan Lykins, Gavin Lykins, Kenley Croxton Nieces and nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 26, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Brother Johnny McCurry officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday March 25 and 9-until service time Wednesday March 26 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Sebree United Methodist Church.
