Gracie Pearl Duvall Gracie Pearl Duvall, 87 of Earlington passed away on Friday August 3, 2012, at 12:55 PM. In Regional Medical Center, Madisonville, Ky. She was born July 31, 1925 in Christian County, Ky.to Herbert Byron Gates and Carrie Katherine Wicks Gates. She was a homemaker and member a of Castleberry Baptist Church, Crofton, Ky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, George “Teeny “ Gates, James Gates, Bill Gates, Herbert “Sach” Gates and Howard R. Gates. One sister Frances Gates. She is survived by three children, Alice Faye Holcomb and her husband Michael C. of Holton, Ks., Jerry Lee Duvall his wife Claudia Jane of Earlington, Ky., Shirley Jean Oldham of Dawson Springs, Ky. One sister Katherine Carroll and her husband Russell of Ilsley, Ky. Two Brothers, Norman Gates of Richland, Ky. and Odis Gates and his wife Karen of Dawson Springs, Ky. Nine Grandchildren, Shane Duncan, Clinton Duncan, Jason Duncan, Preston Duvall, Sylvia Duvall, Gates Duvall, Jeff Oldham, Jennifer, Oldham, Ashley Holcomb-Boyle. Twelve Great Grandchildren and several nieces and Nephews. Her funeral will be at 1:00 PM, Monday August 6 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home with Brother Douglas Bullock and Preston Duvall officiating. Burial will be in Castleberry Cemetery, Crofton, Ky. Visitation is Sunday, Aug 5, 2012, 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Monday, until the service time at Reid-Walters Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Preston Duvall, Gates Duvall, Shane Duncan, Clinton Duncan, Jason Duncan and Jeff Oldham. Honorary Pallbears are Sylvia Duvall, Ashley Holcomb-Boyle and Jennifer Uzzle.
