Grant "Junior" Blevins, Jr.

Grant “Junior” Blevins, Jr., 81 of Corydon passed away at his residence March 14, 2014. He was born September 22, 1932 in Paintsville, KY to Grant Blevins, Sr. and Cassie (Salyers) Blevins. Grant retired from BTA formerly Ashland Oil Company as supervisor at Uniontown, KY and he was an avid UK fan. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 great grandchildren; Austin and Faith Parker, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Wanda R. (Bebout) Blevins James Blevins and his wife Karen of Henderson Mary D. Decker of Henderson Annette West and her husband Mark of Corydon Cassie Westerman and her husband Gary of Corydon 7 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday March 18 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery. Brother Don Haire will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Tuesday 8:30 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brandon West, Tim Alderson, Daniel Nixon, Brent Majors, Chris Morris and Lee Allee.
