Gregory Stewart "Peck" Myers

Gregory Stewart "Peck" Myers, 52 of Madisonville passed away Friday November 21, 2014 at 1:25 PM at his home under the care of Baptist Health Hospice. He was born in Madisonville on March 28, 1962 to John R. and Patricia Ann (Lutz) Myers. He graduated from Madisonville North Hopkins High School in 1980. He worked in the coal industry for over 30 years with 16 of those at Warrior Coal Company as a Prep Plant Operator. Greg was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post #6 in Madisonville. He loved riding his Harley Davidson especially with his buddies known as "The Hamsters". He was also an avid fisherman and NASCAR fan. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by 1 brother John R. "Johnny" Myers Jr. and 1 sister Nancy Myers Clark. Survivors include his father John R. Myers Sr. of Madisonville Fiancé: Robyn Tomblinson of Madisonville Sister: Debby Myers of Madisonville 2 Nephews: Patrick Clark of Madisonville Jesse Clark of Onton, KY Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Monday November 24, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Bro. Roy Ellis will officate. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until service time Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or The Salvation Army.
