Gregory Neal Tapp

Gregory Neal Tapp, 58, of Sebree, KY passed away 11:45 A.M. Sunday January 17, 2010 at his home. He was born November 4, 1951 in Henderson, KY to J.A. and Norma (Newton) Tapp. He was a farmer, and farmed with his father J.A. Tapp, his brother Keith Tapp, and sons Kelby and Kaleb Tapp. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, a FFA advisor and a teacher (4 years) in King George County, Virginia. He was also a deacon at Pennyrile Church of Christ in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by his mother Norma Tapp (2009). He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kris (Ungemach) Tapp of Sebree, Ky His father: J.A. Tapp of Sebree, KY 2 sons: Kelby Tapp of Sebree, KY Kaleb Tapp of Sebree, KY 1 daughter: Cassie (Tapp) Orr and her husband Grant of Mayfield, KY 1 brother: Keith Tapp of Sebree, KY 2 sisters: Cindy and her husband Jerry Brown of Sebree, KY Joann Tapp of Nashville, TN 2 grandchildren: Hayden and Addyson Orr Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday January 20, 2010 at Pennyrile Church of Christ Church, 4915 Hanson Rd.( US Hwy 41 two miles south of Hanson), Madisonville, KY. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY Bro. Lewis Stanley, Barry Webb, and Dr. Jon Partlow will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday January 19, 2010 from 1:00-8:00 P.M. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY and Wednesday January 20, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Church. Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Barry Newton, Jerry McGill, Kenny Toombs, Greg Edwards, and Bill Bridwell. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice, P.O. Box 305, Dixon, KY 42409
