Harlan "Buddy" Whitman

Harlan “Buddy” Whitman, 75 of Robards, Kentucky passed away Saturday December 27, 2014 at Methodist Hospital. He was born in Logan County, Kentucky to Elder Harlan and Rosa (Knight) Whitman on December 16, 1939. He was a productions supervisor at Sonoco and was a member of Cash Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 sisters Mabel Addison, Mildred Gray, Lou Ella Whitman, Novella Whitman, Katheryn Maes and 2 brothers Bobby Whitman and Edward Whitman. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Barbara Baxter Whitman 5 children: Brian Harlan Whitman and wife Erin of Robards Thomas A. Beckett of Henderson Jeff S. Whitman of Henderson Kevin D. Whitman and wife Debbie of Henderson Bridgett D. Todd and husband Kenny of Henderson 3 Sisters: Marie Hadden of Lexington, Kentucky Charlotte Camp of Conyers, Georgia Judi Allen of Adairville, Kentucky 1 Brother: Joe Whitman of Lehigh, Florida 8 Grandchildren Several Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be 10:00 AM Friday January 2, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Brian Whitman will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8PM and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
