Harrell Jeffery Lemeron

SSG Harrell Jeffery Lemeron of Henderson, KY was called to his Heavenly Home and freed from his battle with cancer on May 7, 2016 at St. Anthonys Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. He was born in Evansville, IN on August 2, 1946. Jeff was retired from Whirlpool in 2008. He also served in the US Navy during Vietman and had 20+ years of service in the Indiana National Guard where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He had also attended Henderson Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Jeff was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson. He loved Jesus and his church. He was also an avid fisherman. Jeff was affectionately known as Homer by his daughter Jennifer and Pop by his son Rick and Grandson D.J.. Jeff was preceded in death by his father and step-mother who raised him, Harold Leslie and Martha Lemeron. He was also preceded in death by a brother Bruce Lemeron. He is survived by his wife of 40 years; Marian (Dixon) Lemeron Son; Rick Lemeron Daughter: Jennifer Lynn Lemeron Both of Henderson, KY Grandson; D. J. Lemeron of Waynesboro, VA Sisters; Diana Lemeron of Evansville, IN Janet Lemeron of Illinois Brother; David Lemeron of Evansville, IN Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 2360 Green River Road in Henderson. Rev. Matt Fowler will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 Tuesday at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at the church.
