Helen Kaye Bell

Helen Kaye (Farney) Bell, 83, of Henderson, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh.

She was born in Fairbury, IL on January 5, 1943 to the late Glenn and Fern (Cline) Farney.

Helen was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Bell; daughter, Donna Lynn Bell; sister, Mardelle Sturm; and brother, Robert Farney.

Survivors include her sons, Doug Bell (Becky) and Matt Bell; granddaughters, Madison (Ethan), Raegan (Austin), and Anna (Jack); great granddaughter, Channing; sister, Sharon Simmons; beloved pet, Gracie; special friends, nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be scheduled at a later date.

Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
