Helen Romanello

Helen Romanello, 81, of Slaughters, KY passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Health Care in Sebree, KY. Mrs. Romanello was born May 21, 1938 in Centertown, Ky to the late Robert and Oakie Hoskins.  She was a member of Slaughters Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Melvin Hoskins. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Johnny Romanello; four children, James Goff (Cindy) of Slaughters, Ky, Mary Jane Brown (Joseph Pate) of Sebree, KY, Janice Clark (Dencil) of Henderson, KY, Judy Bowley (Perry) of Sebree, KY; four sisters, Flossie Corley, Hazel Cook, Rena Dixon, Patricia Sandefur; one brother, Jerry Hoskins; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Barbara Goff, Leslie Brown, Logan Goff, Katie Adamson, Glenda Pippin, Samantha Damarath, Jessica Thompson and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020, 11:00 am at Slaughters Baptist Church with Bro. Brad Tucker officiating.  Burial will follow at Onton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 5:00 – 8:00 pm and Wednesday, 9:00 – 11:00 am at the church.
