Helen Juanita Suthard

Helen Juanita Suthard of Mortons Gap went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 12th. . She was 89 years old. Juanita was born August 9, 1921 in Hopkins County. She was the youngest child ofE. W. and Julie Page Fox. She married Clarence Lacy Suthard and became a housewife, mother, and factory worker. Clarence and Juanita were the parents of three children. Juanita was a longtime member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and she was retired from Enro Shirt Company. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and two sisters, infant son Larry W. Suthard, daughter Helen Joyce Suthard Kennett, son-in-law Steve Kennett; and her husband Clarence Lacy Suthard. She is survived by her sister, Martha Starks, a son C. Truman Suthard (Dixie), three grandchildren; Trina (John) Hollander, Kristi (Troy) Gentry, and Lacy (Jessica) Kennett. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; Skyyler Suthard, Axel Hollander, Jake Gentry, Nicholas Kennett, and Sophie Kennett. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 15th , at 11:00 a.m. at Reid Walters Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening and from 9:00 a.m. to the funeral hour Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Lacy Kennett, Scott Ford, Kerry Fox, Don Fox, John Hollander, and Troy Gentry. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Gideons International.
