Helen Elizabeth Walker

Helen Elizabeth (Nunn) Walker, 78 of Henderson passed away 11:05 AM Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Methodist Hospital. She was born October 6, 1933 in Henderson, KY to Mary Gertrude (Russellburg) and Julius Coleman Nunn. She was a member of United Church of Nazarene in Henderson and retired from Henderson County Vocational School. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Henry Walker, Sr., son Chuck Walker, two brothers Robert Nunn, Marvin “Dink” Nunn and one sister Betty Powell. She is survived by 2 sons: James H. “Dobie” and wife Sheila Walker, Jr. of Hartford, KY Mark Anthony and wife Deborah Walker, Sr. of Henderson, KY 3 Daughters: Diane and husband Garland Stanley of Henderson, KY, Donna Gail and husband Woody Sigler of Henderson, KY Charlotte Marie and husband Tim Jerger of Henderson, KY 11 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 22 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Keith Griffin will officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday October 21 and 9:00 AM until service time Saturday October 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mark Walker II, Aubrey Walker, Justin Jerger, Bebo Jerger and Jason Aldridge. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
