Helen Louise Patterson Woodford Helen Louise Patterson Woodford age 85 of Earlington, Ky. passed away at 5:28 a.m. Monday 10-19-09 at the Christian Care Center in Kattawa, Ky. She was born November 19, 1923 in Hopkins County, Ky. to Tolbert and Eura Belle Reynolds Patterson. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Earlington, Ky. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence William “George” Woodford, one son Roger Dale Woodford, one daughter Judith Diane Woodford McGregor, three sisters Pearlie Patterson, Pansy Brown and Mae Bruder; seven brothers Parnell Patterson, Polley Patterson, Bill Patterson, James Patterson, Ed Patterson, Wade Patterson and Leslie “Jack” Patterson. She is survived by one son Ray Woodford and his wife Joanne of Madisonville, Ky., two sisters Alyne Todd of Evansville, in and Hilda Millis of Madisonville, two grandsons Bill Woodford and Roger Woodford; two great-grandsons Isaiah Woodford and Jacob Woodford and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday 10-22-09 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, Ky. with Bro. Kim Hudson officiating. Her burial will be Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, Ky. Her visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m.Wednesday 10-21-09 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Thursday.
