Helen D. Wright

Helen D. Wright, 58, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Evansville on January 17, 1963 to the late Melvin Eugene Harris and Pearl (Cutsinger) Thurman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Pate and sister-in-law, Jean Harris. She is survived by her children, David Harris, Angela McLean, and Jessica Smith, all of Henderson; siblings, Betty Sandefur Kurtz (Wayne) of Henderson, Melvin Harris of Henderson, and Jerry Harris (Tonya) of Hebbardsville; seven grandchildren; and niece and caregiver, Easter Loman. Memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at Atkinson Club House with Bro. Billy Balke officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. at Atkinson Club House. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements.
