Herbert Ray Turner

Herbert Ray Turner, 67 of Reed, KY passed away March 20, 2020 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born June 20, 1952 to the late Ernest and Beulah Turner.He was a retired timber cutter and skidder driver for Peckenpaugh Logging and a member of Old Decker Church in Butler County.  Herbert enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four siblings, Rebecca Wilson, Ervin Turner, Matthew Turner and Roger Turner. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Cindy Turner, daughter, April Duncan and her husband Andy; seven siblings, Virginia ”Sister”  Phelps, Robert Turner, Elaine Herring, Evelyn Barre, Silas Turner, Charlie Turner and Michael Turner; three grandchildren, Alan “Bubba” Duncan, Abigail “Abi” Duncan and Aggie “Baby Sister” Duncan; fur baby, Ringo, several nieces and nephews. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice. Services will be held at a later date. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
