Herman "Jack" Eugene Gilmore

Herman “Jack” Eugene Gilmore, 83, of Henderson passed away Saturday November 3, 2012 at 2:05 AM at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Henderson to Dutch and Lela Gilmore on January 14, 1929. He was employed at Linn Gas and later retired from Southern States. He was most recently employed at Sureway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phonia “JoAnne” Hunter Gilmore and his sister Maxine Spencer. He is survived by 2 Nephews: Michael A Hall of Henderson Paul Spencer of Hebbardsville 1 Niece: Tammra Ligon of Henderson Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Angela Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Full Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post 40 Burial Detail and Honor Guard. Visitation will be Monday 6-8PM and Tuesday Noon until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
