Herman Lee Vandiver Herman Vandiver, 94 years old died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 7:15 AM at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Ky. He was born on April 8, 1918 in Hopkins County Kentucky. He was a coal miner and a army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Vandiver and Mabel Mae Clark. He is survived by three sons Ronny Vandiver, Tony Vandiver and Jimmy Vandiver all of Earlington. One sister Eunice Cooper of Ark. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 27th at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nortonville, Ky. at 11:30 AM. Brother George Brooks officiating. There will be no visitation.
