Hershel Tommie Sneed

Hershel T. Sneed, 84 of Henderson, KY  passed away Saturday Sept. 16, 2017 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.He was born in Adair County, KY on December 21, 1932 to the late Bill and May (James) Sneed.Hershel was retired from Henderson Power and Light after more than 25 years of service.  He was also a Korean War Air Force Veteran.  He liked to fish, watch NASCAR and loved tinkering with lawn mowers.He was preceded in death by his parents.Hershel is survived by his companion of 47 years; Bettie Ricketts of Henderson, KY            Daughter and son-in-law Amy and Allen Anglin of Evansville, INServices will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.Deacon Richard Beaven will officiate.Entombment will follow in Fairmont Mausoleum with full military rites by American Legion Worsham Post 40.Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Henderson County Humane Society.Online condolences at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com
