Hilda Baird Gill

Hilda Gill, 91 of Madisonville passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville. She was born August 4, 1921, to the late George Rudy Kirkwood and Clara Gamblin Kirkwood. She was a member of the Earlington First Baptist Church, Women on Mission and Eastern Star. She worked many years as an inspector for the Enro Shirt Factory in Madisonville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M Gill, One son, Kenneth K Gill. She is survived by one daughter Martha Gill of Madisonville and one son, Joe Gill and his wife Lee of Madisonville. One sister, Elizabeth Grace of Henderson, Ky.She has five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 28th at 2:00 PM in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, with Rev. Mathew Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Gill, Kirk Gill, Clint Patterson, Charles Kent, Jon Morgan, Mac Grace and George Grace. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington on Tuesday.
