Holden Garrett Heath Jr., affectionally known by family as “Holdie,”2 years old, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Henderson.
Holden was born in Bowling Green, KY on July 13, 2020 to Holden Garrett Heath Sr and Angela June Duncan.
Holden was an energetic bundle of joy and free spirit. He was a happy, go lucky little daredevil and all-around beautiful soul.
His Aunt Brittany describes him as a fearless, brave, caring, and outgoing little boy who loved music and dancing. Holden’s Aunt Jenny said, “Holden was Holden. He was so smart, so sweet (nothing like lil’ keave). He always wanted to love and be loved, and he was FUNNY! Everything he did was hilarious! He was a hardheaded, soft-hearted boy, just like his dad. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew it was a boy because Holden always wanted to love on me.”
"Holden was a blessing from heaven to earth. He was so heartwarming and intelligent." Uncle Nick, Aunt Kick, Aunty Ashley and the twins loved seeing his smile and getting all the lovings they could get.
Holden's cousin Layshia said, “He was my best friend. I love all my little cousins the same, but he was my favorite.” Holden’s cousin Jr. lovingly refers to him as “my little partner.” Older sister, Evy, would describe Holden as “irritatingly perfect.”
His nana said, “I loved his every move and his reddish-blonde hair, baby blue eyes, big smile, and bowlegs. I loved his desire to explore the world. He was such a joy to be around and a little boy through and through. I will cherish his love until the end of time.”
Holden was preceded in death by his father, Holden Garrett Heath Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Angela Duncan (Michael Carter); sister, Evelynn Grayce Heath; grandparents, Theresa Stewart (Marce), Todd Heath, Christy Leemon, Grandma Carol and Papa Chic (Carol and Everette Johnson); great aunt, Jan Riggs; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
