Homer "Dusty" Asher Haire

Homer A. “Dusty” Haire, 58 of Reed, KY passed away Monday June 22, 2015 at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born in Owensboro, KY on November 26, 1956. He was a coal miner and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Henderson. His greatest joy was being Poppaw to his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved restoring old cars. He was preceded in death by his father Otis U. Haire. Survivors include his one true love and wife of 24 years; Tracy Haire. Mother; Freda (Butler) Haire of Owensboro, KY 3 children; Shasta Speaks and husband Lance of Henderson, KY Buddy Haire of Owensboro, KY Brandy Reed and husband Corey of Henderson, KY Sister; Donna Berry of Owensboro, KY 4 Grandchildren; Carrie Crowley, Declan Speaks, Ally Reed and Addy Reed all of Henderson. Nephews also survive. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday June 26, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Alan Ramsey and Rev. J. W. Haire will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed, KY Visitation will be Thursday June 25th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and Friday June 26th from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Zachary Berry, Travis Berry, Dustin Durchholz, Brandon Durchholz, Ryan Haire and Chris Haire. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 So.
