Hoyte Lee Davenport

Hoyte Lee Davenport, 76 of Sebree, KY passed away at 5:20 PM Tuesday February 02, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was born in Slaughters, KY on November 6, 1933 to the late Olmar Tittle and Curtis Edward (Crowley) Davenport. He was retired from Texas Gas. He was a member, Deacon, and Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church in Sebree, KY. He was also an Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death be a sister, Patricia Davenport and brother Olmar Davenport. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Hanley) Davenport of Sebree, KY Son and wife Jim and Christy Davenport of Henderson, KY 1 brother; Mann Davenport of Sebree, KY 1 sister; Jolene Forker of Sebree, KY 3 grandchildren; Nikki Bowling, Kristin Parker, and Josh Hunsinger 2 great grandchildren; Hunter Bowling and Grant Bowling several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday February 5, 2010 at the Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Dr. Bob Hardison and Joey Davenport will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Hank Forker, John Forker, Jason Forker, Jeff Davenport, Monte Davenport, Joey Davenport, Tracy Lykins and Sean Hanley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Hunsinger, Eldon Bradley, Doug Lynn and Randall Hedges. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Sebree First Baptist Church Building Fund.
