Hugh "Papaw" Wiggins

Hugh “Papaw” Wiggins, 84, of Sebree, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.  He was born in Beech Grove to the late Robert Bruce and Myrtle (Hinton) Wiggins on August 3, 1936.  Hugh was a Carpenter and Machinist. He was a member of Sebree Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 538 and an honorary member of the American Legion Post 243.  Hugh was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed woodworking, lawncare, cleaning his car and could fix anything.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Bradley Wiggins, brother Bruce L. Wiggins, great-granddaughter Victoria Boggess and great-grandson Reece Lucas.  Survivors include his wife of 66 years Margaret (Scott) Wiggins, 3 children Randall Wiggins (Cheryle), Sabrina Blue (Anthony), Brent Wiggins (Shawn) all of Sebree, 5 grandchildren Mia Lucas, Beri Sheely, Brad Wiggins, RyAnn Young, Jaci Wiggins, 7 great-grandchildren Keelei Duncan, Klint Boggess, Sara Lucas, McKena Lucas, Olivia Sheely, Ben Turner, Dominic Turner, and many nieces and nephews.  Services will be 5:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Pastor Joe Cox officiating.  Burial will be private at Springdale Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday Noon until service time at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Sebree Methodist Church, 12180 Hwy 132, Sebree, KY 42455.
