Ida (Denton) Cameron

Ida (Denton) Cameron, 79, of Henderson, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.

Ida was born in Corydon Kentucky to the late Brodie and Gertha Denton.

Ida married the love of her life, Pastor Charles E Cameron on July 30, 1985.

Ida graduated from Henderson City High School in 1964. In her early thirties, she attended Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro Kentucky. She achieved the Dean’s list every semester of her studies. Ida had a passion for seeing young people come to know Jesus. She served in the church with her husband, Pastor Charles E Cameron. Ida assisted Charles in his ministries for over thirty years.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Charles E Cameron; sons, Timothy S Lashbrook of Henderson, Gary C Cameron of Hopkinsville, and Jacob E Cameron of Henderson.

Graveside services will be on Friday, February 28, 2025, at noon at Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, KY.
