Ida Willene Swaffar

Ida Willene Swaffer, 89 of Slaughters, formerly of Hazel Park, MI passed away on July 23, 2014 at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville. She was born on September 22, 1924 in Bryan, AR. She was retired from Press Products in Troy, MI, and a member of the Church of Christ in Hazel Park, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe and Ellie Pruitt Hamm, her husband, Leon Swaffar,and one daughter Barbara Swaffar. She is survived by her son, Tommy Swaffer of Slaughters, 6 grandchildren, Denise, Regina, Brandon, Thomas, and William, and 3 great grandchildren, Blayne, Robert, and Shawn. Service will be at a later date. There will be no local service. Tomblinson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
